Here are some samples of my work in reverse chronological order-most recent first: ServSafe I applied Spanish translations and debugged ActionScript 3.0 for this Flash and Flex-based eLearning course. ServSafe is one of the premier products for the National Restaurant Association. New Product Tutorial This is a character study for an avatar in a help facility for a new product offering. It ended up being replaced by another more cartoony-looking avatar. It was alot of fun to do the 3-D animation though. ChargeMaster Pro Tutorial This is the help facility I created for the ChargeMaster Pro application for CCH. (Requires Adobe Flash)
ChargeMaster Pro High-Fidelity Prototype Taky Cheung and I were the interface designers on the project development team. We collaborated on the application UI. Taki designed and built the website, and I designed and built the online help. The program offers hospitals a solution to the problem of managing payment codes, reimbursement rules and rate changes. It's the only application of its kind with a lecture and hands-on training module. None of which would have been possible without Technical Writer Rich Guittar's excellent requirements gathering and documentation. (Requires Adobe Flash) D. R. Horton Floor Plan Viewer
This project consisted of creating a Web interface for D. R. Horton's customers to easily view and print floor plans of D. R. Horton homes for sale. I converted architect's CAD drawings for use in the Flash interface I created. (Requires Adobe Flash)
JetStream Part Viewer
This project consisted of creating an interface for Jetstream's customers to easily select replacement parts for water blasting equipment. I received CAD drawings in DXF format from the client and brought them into Flash, where I put them into the Flash part viewer I created. Then I programmed the interactivity with the eCommerce site. (Requires Adobe Flash) Home Depot Business Presentation
This project consisted of several small Flash animations for use in a MS Powerpoint business presentation. In the sample, Homer D. Poe completes a do-it-yourself home improvement project. I created original artwork and programmed animations from client specs. (Requires Adobe Flash)
Understanding Banking Financials
This Flash-based courseware was created for Accenture in St. Charles, IL. The theme of the course put the learner in the role of an apprentice spy and had a "comic book" look and feel. I provided ActionScripting support for the interactivity as well as original artwork. (Requires Adobe Flash)
Agilent Technologies' Test and Measurement Web site redesign
This web site is the eBusiness site for Agilent Technologies, a subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard. This is the largest web project I have ever been involved with. There were 40,000+ static web pages that were migrated to a Java, Oracle and XML-based content management framework. There were several teams involved in this year-long project. I was involved with the HTML template build teams (translated into 6 languages, including Japanese) and the XML/XSL style sheet teams. The project was art directed by Tony Brinton, based in San Jose, CA and designed by Zhanna Buell, also based in San Jose, CA. The HTML template team-Drew Jones, Rohit "Hitman" Sankaran, and I-was based in Chicago, IL and the XML/XSL style sheet team,-Ishmael Cooper, Ramesh Desappa, Mahendran "Mahee" Duraisamy, Duc "Dukey" Hoang, May Lo, Rohit "Hitman" Sankaran, and I-was based in Houston, TX. David Chan was the Project Manager. My apologies to anyone I forgot to mention. I earned MANY frequent flyer miles on this project!

The Professional Standards Group Intranet
This intranet site was built for the Arthur Andersen Professional Standards Group as part of an entire branding system. It was art directed by Patrick O'Neil, designed by Marc Afable, Andrea Burke, Brittyn DeWerth, and Chad Meyer and architected and built by me.
Hoopla! NCAA Tournament Promotion
This intranet site was a fun promotion to increase the visibility of the Arthur Andersen marketing and brand. One million dollars would have been given to any eligible Arthur Andersen employee or partner who was able to pick all 63 winners in the NCAA finals (nobody did). The site generated more hits in one day than the rest of the internal sites generated in a month. Hoopla! was architected by me, written by Dave Oll, art directed by Joe Juhnke, designed by Dan Gummerson, programmed by Pat Frisbie and built by Dan (Da Man) Gardner and me (with special thanks to Joe Armstrong).
Imagine That! Web catalog
This intranet/extranet site was developed for the Arthur Andersen Global Marketing Group. It was designed to facilitate easy access to marketing collateral for the entire global Arthur Andersen Marketing organization. It provided links to downloadable Adobe Acrobat documents that local organizations could customize for their particular market application. It was art directed and designed by Joe Juhnke and architected and built by me.
